The latest reports indicate that India produced around 111 million tonnes of steel in 2019 which shows a growth rate of around 1.8% as compared to 2018.
The National Steel Policy, 2017 approved by the Union Cabinet of the Government of India aim towards strengthening the steel industry in India.Government is working immensely to boost the steel industry in India. With a lot of potential and capabilities, the Indian Steel Industry is greatly contributing towards the development of India and the entire world.
